About this deal

Definitely, all these things are inspiration for this talented person, whose products people adore and want to have. Though this idea is not presented at all in the book in any direct or indirect way, but I thought it’s nice to receive this sentiment from a children’s book. Accept Hervé Tullet's irresistible invitation to mix it up in a dazzling adventure of whimsy and wonder.

This potential can be seen in everything children do, from working in a garden ("Will you learn what it means/ To help things to grow? If you are not yet familiar with Emily Winfield Martin’s books or illustrations, you should become so.It makes you wonder about the possibilities and really celebrate that unique unconditional love that you feel towards this little tiny human that has come into your life.

This easy-to-read book is filled with lots of love as parents express thier support of their children and their imaginations. Schertle’s verse, usually reliable, stumbles more than once; stanzas such as “But Valentine’s Day / didn’t seem much fun / when he didn’t get cards / from anyone” will cause hitches during read-alouds. What is such a simple concept and a thought that comes into every parent's mind, Emily Winfield Martin has turned into a celebration of children's natures and personalities. The whole text is a poem which consists of a parent’s words, and the message is an admission of love for a baby. With beautiful, and sometimes humorous, illustrations, this is a book grown-ups will love reading over and over to kids—both young and old.Martin's rhyming text moves the narrative along with lyrical narration reminiscent of a poem or a lullaby.

Emily lives among the giant fir trees of Portland, Oregon, with her fellow adventurer, Josiah, and their cat Miette. This picture book also add just the right touch of whimsy with subtle touches including children dressed as animals and other fantastical aspirations. The Wonderful Things You Will Be (2015) by Emily Winfield Martin is the rare picture book that truly has something for everyone. I read it as an adult interested in the craft of illustrating children’s books, but I got something rather precious from reading it myself. The wealth of possibilities contained within even the tiniest child is the subject of Martin's ( Day Dreamers) love letter from parent to offspring: "When you were too small/ To tell me hello,/ I knew you were someone/ I wanted to know.Subsequent pages show a wide array of families with members of many different racial presentations engaging in bike and bus rides, indoor dance parties, and more.
