The most notable upgrade though is the use of a non-pressurized ballpoint refill that is pressurized when the top is pressed. The Fisher Space Pen refill fits this pen like a glove — it almost seems like Zebra had this in mind when making the pen. The sleek design also appeals to professionals who want a “pen that looks like it means business” but isn’t ready to splurge on a monogrammed executive pen.We even like it more than extra fine tech pens, which are delicate and can start skipping if you drop them. Initially it was shipped with a plastic ring around the knock which is what spawned the popular F-701 hack.
